I've used my newly learned video editing skills on a new pen review! Enjoy!
I've been listening to the comments on my videos and decided to improve my video editing skill set. Look for big changes in 2018 as I learn Davinci Resolve, color editing, and sound engineering.
I sat down and played with this epic pen tonight.
Large vintage pens fascinate me. I'm sure someone with money owned this pen. Someone who worked hard, innovated, hawked his wares or talents day in and day out, better than his rivals. He recorded his accounts and tallied his balance sheets. He bought this pen and used it to write eloquent correspondence to people of importance. He wrote love letters to his sweetheart. He signed the mortgage for his home, and expressed his sympathy for the passing of loved ones.
And after a life well lived he completed his circle of life and passed this quality writing instrument down to the next generation.
And now some idiot is doodling this with it.
In my previous post I featured a pile of parts. Here's how they came together with a little imagination and some Testors enamel model paint.
This will be an epic pen.... soon.
These are some seriously good looking pens.
Today, with the help of some friends, I play with the vintage Big Ben Pen from the Diamond Point
Pen Company.
Today I play with the Franklin Christoph Model 66 Ice!
I took a few minutes to discuss why I like replacing bad nibs with Fountain Pen Revolution flex nibs.
An Omas Paragon, with EVERY NIB including 4 flessible nibs! Impressive.
I need this.
I have been getting requests to film a video of writing, but include the sound of the pen writing. I paused my music and filmed myself writing a thank you letter. I hope you enjoy it!
